Dex Marco is a dual science degree holder with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Class of 2015 Valedictorian, Magna Cum Laude) from San Pedro College and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (Class of 2022 1st Honorable Mention, Cum Laude) from Holy Cross of Davao College, Inc. He passed the Republic of the Philippines Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Pharmacy Licensure Examination on January 2016 with an average of 90.28%. He received the Most Outstanding Research Award for his undergraduate BS Pharm thesis entitled "Effect of the Glycinin-Containing Soybean Extract (Glycine max. L. Merr) as Capsule Formulation in Increasing Dopamine and Homovanillic Acid Levels in Reserpine-Induced Mice (Mus musculus): A Potential Anti-Parkinsonian Agent" as well as the Gold Medal for Excellence from the Philippine Pharmacists Association (PPhA). He was recognized by the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICpEP) as the Most Outstanding Computer Engineering Student in Region XI of the Philippines on July 2021 and a Top 3 Finalist as the Most Outstanding Computer Engineering Student in the Philippines on August 2021. His undergraduate BS CpE thesis entitled "AETTHER GEAR: AEro-percolative Temperature-sensing Technology Hampering Entry via Respiration Guarding Essential Assessment Real-time" won the 1st Place in the Regional Pitching Competition and the 3rd Place in the National Pitching Competition hosted both by ICpEP. Aside from being a scholar, Dex Marco is vocally trained at Jhine Music & Arts Center, Davao City, Philippines and has a rich baritone modal voice, a steady tenor range, a strong head voice, and a robust falsetto. He does lots of hosting and voice-over acts, and is a choreographer, having been Dance Troupe President and kinesthetically trained in his high school days. He enjoys playing the MOBA Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and has duckpin bowling, running and archery as his favorite sports.He is currently taking his Master of Engineering, major in Innovation Management at Mindanao's Top Jesuit Research Institution, Ateneo de Davao University.
